Regioanl Account Director
A recognised global leader in loyalty management is looking for a Regional Account Director working with a major petroleum client, responsible for the overall the strategic direction of the client programs and business as a whole. Key to this role is the ability to sell-in and engage clients at strategic level.

Description :
Your responsibility is to drive business results for the client with sound strategic inputs grounded on data driven insights.

Reporting to the Director of Client Services based in Singapore and managing a regional team of five staff, your key duties include:

Strategic Direction of CRM Programmes:

• Comprehensive understanding of marketing disciplines and how it relates to the markets that both the Company and its clients
• In-depth understanding of the clients' business, industry, competitors and actively apply the Company・s methodology to clients・ business
• Ability to demonstrate original strategic thought and spearhead strategic direction of client・s programs
• Ability to sell-in to clients and engage clients at strategic level
• Develop marketing plans and calendar to drive the programme strategies
• Work with Data Planning group to identify and initiate database marketing strategies and opportunities
• Work with IT group to identify and initiate system enhancement and innovative solution to marketing activities as well as operation systemic challenges
• Work with Reward Operations team on reward selection, catalog refreshment and resolution of key operational concerns.
• Work with internal client service teams to develop execution plan for marketing activities
• Set and deliver programme/campaign metrics which are financially and structurally sound.
• Instrumental in driving campaign analysis and programme evaluation to further develop programme strategies
• Drive data analytics approach. Develop data driven insights and formulate recommendations on program development and strategies

Client Relationship:

• Listen, understand and act on client needs for strategic inputs.
• Supports the client service teams in client relationship
• Identify areas to improve, grow and develop service opportunities for the Company within the client structure
• Support the Data Planning group in coordinating data preparation and analysis for clients
• Support internal team teams (IT, Reward Operations etc.) and the Company・s achievement of excellent client satisfaction reviews.
• Determine when more senior level involvement is required within the account/s and initiate this

Account Development:

• Identify new opportunities for sell-in of the Company・s services within appointed accounts.
• Develop strategies knowledgably, showing an in depth understanding of the Company・s full offering and capabilities
• Understand strategic direction for the client and develop new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to introduce and utilise resources (e.g subject matter experts) in order to develop the account and cross fertilize the use of the Company・s core skills.
• Take on a leadership role in client management, comfortable in stepping in to manage client escalation, if situation arises


Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 12 years experience within the marketing industry (marketing degree / qualifications)
• Solid understanding of below-the-line disciplines and techniques
• Sound understanding of the client industry and the ability to anticipate and react to change
• Good understanding of Client Services, IT, Operations and Creative
• The ability to manage multiple programs concurrently
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Strong and confident presentation skills
• Demonstrated creative problem solving and ability to work with strategic concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively with account teams to meet client and agency objectives
• Good understanding of Information Technology deployment
• Intermediate - Advanced MS Office
• Preferably with new business experience, working on pitches and proposals
