Marketing Manager
An international office supplies group is looking for a Marketing Manager, participating in the planning of the Company's direction, strategy and tactics in accordance with the wishes of the parent Company.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director and the Managing Director, you will exhibit and encourage the highest levels of commitment, motivation and performance in pursuit of the Company's goals, promote effective management practices and generally assist the organisation in meeting its corporate goals.


You will also organise and control the agreed resources to secure achievement of the Company's sales and customer service objectives, implement marketing strategies and processes according to the Group rules and Quality processes.

Your other major responsibilities include:

- Manage the marketing team (5 people) by defining the team and personal objectives, training and professional development and performing the recruitment activities
- Manage product sourcing and vendor selection of catalogue products (SKU over 500), negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and maximise supplier Rebate Programme
- Implement the pricing strategy in line with the corporate policy to maximise sales and margin
- Identify and develop the promotional activities in line with defined corporate strategy
- Monitor and define the departmental operational budget
- Develop annual Marketing plan
- Monitor the production of Product Catalogue, Price List and other marketing literature, e.g. Flyers, Sales Aids, Order Forms, Corporate Brochures, Newsletters, etc
- Develop the co-ordination with Group Marketing for leverage re purchasing power and margin improvement
- Co-ordinate the management of marketing content
- Provide other product offers: Non-stock Products, Rubber Stamps and fulfilment of Quote/Tender requests
- Conduct Vendor Appraisals in conjunction with Replenishment in order to maximise customer service
- Monitor competitive activity and respond accordingly
- Co-ordinate the various project work as agreed with the Managing Director


To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and work experience:

- Degree holder in marketing or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in Product Management; prior experience in Marketing Communication is preferred
- Strong business sense with analytical abilities
- Strong vendor selection and negotiation skills
- Full understanding of all elements of the marketing mix
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong communication skills and with ability to handle complex commercial issues
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Highly proficient in MS Office
- A team player and a motivating leader
