Search Job by keyword   Location : Job listing > Product Development > Product Development / Purchasing / Sourcing Manager Product Development / Purchasing / Sourcing Manager An established convenience store is now looking for a product development manager (FMCG) responsible for driving the corporate brand new product development for both food and non-food items from sourcing, cost negotiation to packaging and labeling design. Description : Reporting to the Group Category Controller, your main job duties include: •Managing and monitoring the procurement process of corporate brand to ensure that the activities are aligned with local and company policy and standard •Working closely with suppliers and QA team to conduct factory audit, lab test and sensory test •Developing new product development plan and perform sales analysis report •Ensuring efficient and profitable management of the product development process including supplier liaison, price negotiation, innovating packaging, cost management, marketing and establishing operational and merchandising guidelines. To meet the challenge, you should be: •A Degree holder in business, purchasing or related discipline •With minimum 6 years relevant experience in FMCG, catering or food manufacturing industry •With good understanding on the local retail market and experience in trade / business negotiation •Creative, independent, detail minded and with excellent communication skills •Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua is an advantage) •Strong negotiation skills with a good analytical mind and business planning abilities Occasional travel is required. A certified HACCP Auditor or equivalent qualification is an advantage Competitive remuneration package will be offered.
