Description : Reporting to the Global Trend Vice President, your essential responsibilities include: Consulting: Working directly with select clients to insightfully furnish them with trend information from the website that is pertinent to their specific business. These sessions will be face-to-face, by phone or by video conferencing. Client Services: Acting as liaison between the client and the Company. This includes disseminating feedback on the trend forecasting and trend reporting. Trend Presentations: Giving seasonal trend presentations to both large and small groups. Trade Shows: Working at the Company’s booth during major trade shows to promote the Company's services to prospective clients, and/or giving trade show presentations. Marketing: Promoting awareness of the website's innovative technology, expertise and exceptional service. Ensuring consulting work remains true to the product image. Reports & Analysis: Communicating with the VP Global Trends re: presentation feedback, content feedback, customizing presentation content, analyzing emerging regional trends, interpreting global trends to regional perspectives, etc. Your Qualifications 5 + years experience in fashion industry or related field Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong understanding of localized markets required. Ability to travel, passport ready Proven experience in trend spotting and analysis Strong computer skills – Mac applications, Microsoft Office, some Adobe programs an asset. Previous experience in public speaking is a definite asset. Experience in product development for apparel, accessories or home furnishings is an asset.
