Regional Marketing Director
A global trend company is seeking a Regional Marketing Director to manage the region・s marketing strategies in alignment with the Company・s global marketing strategy and the APAC region・s sales objectives and to support new channel partner in China.

Description :
Reporting to the Global Marketing Vice President, your essential responsibilities include:

•Develop, manage and coordinate all marketing efforts in the APAC region in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer and US based marketing team and in alignment with the APAC region・s sales objectives and target market focus.
•Support the China sales partner with marketing materials, guidelines and recommendations.
•Develop and manage new lead generation efforts.
•Organise and manage all regional marketing events including tradeshows and trend seminars, as well as client and public relations events.
•Ensure calendar tracking, scheduling and global coordination of regional goals/plans.
•Submit and manage creative briefs to the US office for all marketing materials needs.
•Update all local marketing materials as required.
•Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
•Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget and manage and report on status of regional marketing budget
•Coordinate regional public relations activities and act as Company liaison with regional PR, media and advertising partners.
•Travel in the region as required (primarily China and Australia)


REQUIRED BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor・s degree in marketing, communications or business preferred
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business to business marketing, online subscription marketing or another related field
•Proven experience in managing marketing events
•Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and regional language proficiency. Native speaker of Cantonese, fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin (read and write).
•Must have strong analytical skills related to problem analysis and problem solving.
•Must be extremely detail oriented and very well organized; good multi-tasking skills are necessary
•Must have working knowledge of CRM databases (Salesforce, Eloqua or Omniture experience preferred)
•Able to work independently with minimal supervision as the position has regional responsibility with support from an offsite manager
•Interest in fashion/design industry a plus
