Regional Sales Director
A UK based information services provider is seeking a Regional Sales Director responsible for leading the Asia Pacific sales operation. Reporting to the Regional CEO based in HK, you will play a key part in the its sales growth strategy and roll-out of local sales plans. You will also take the responsibility for the leadership and direction of the Asia Pacific Sales Managers and agents and the Hong Kong based sales team.

Key responsibilities:
- Formulate an Asia Pacific sales strategy and translate this into annual sales plans including budgets and ensure implementation of these plans and budgets in the designated territories. Ensure its optimal long-term expansion by taking account of specific local market conditions.

- Identify and develop new market opportunities, specifically in SEA, India and China

- Contribute to the development of sales processes, tools and capabilities in the territories based on best practices in order to contribute to an efficient and effective sales department.

- Build relationships with customers (current and prospective), governments, regulatory bodies, business partners and suppliers to contribute to raising its profile.

- Lead and develop the capability of the Sales Managers to retain talent at the Company and ensure that clear succession and development plans are in place. Ensure that these principles are adopted throughout the sales department.

- Help the Sales Managers to build the teams in their territories

To meet the challenge, you should have at least 15 years experience in developing holistic sales strategies that demonstrate business acumen, coordination across international markets and alignment with the company's strategic plan, with broad based international sales experience, proven capability to refine sales processes and drive sales revenue growth, and proven leadership skills across disparate geographical locations. Experience in an online environment is desirable, but not a must.
